Since the beginning of December SECTRON is representative of SkimProt. SkimProt is an engineering solution, preventing skimming devices from copying the card’s account information. It is also just a sticker that can be attached to the card in one simple move. Designed to work with banking cards which feature a secure chip, SkimProt eliminates the weak spot exploited by the criminals – the magnetic strip. Its four layers completely shield the data encoded onto the magnetic strip from being scanned, while a service code embedded onto the third layer directs the ATM or POS terminal to look only to the chip for account information.

Hikvision Open Days 2013

SECTRON and Hikvision have held three product presentations in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna under the Hikvision Open Days 2013. In each of the three cities the SECTRON team and Mr. Ilia Yashmakov Sales, Manager for South East Europe Hikvision, have presented the newest products and tendencies in analog and IP video surveillance for 2014 year. Emphasis was placed on the transition to high definition image resolution in video surveillance systems in analog - PICADIS series cameras, the new generation 960H DVRs, in the IP - the latest series of FULL HD IP Cameras with RAPTOR DSP processor. Each presentation takes the form of a discussion in which guests of Hikvision Open Days 2013 ask questions and express opinions and impressions of the Hikvision’s products. Each of the 350 participants of the presentations was able to ascertain live the new analog and IP video surveillance systems. On large Full HD monitors customers could see a picture of the new analog and IP cameras and test out the functionality of the site 960H hybrid video recorders.
